More times than not,
I don’t need a plate.
Each time there’s food available,
I simply can’t bear to wait.
I’m grateful for each special meal,
I’ll probably need a bigger spoon.
Don’t think that I am impatient,
but can you send the next one soon ?
My world is full of poverty,
and everyone’s in need.
So kindly please be generous,
and our pitiful cries to heed.
